WE WON'T ACCEPT ANY OTHER CANDIDATE OUTSIDE GOV. UDOM- ESDYA Warns

...applauds Chief Nduese, Pledges Support for PDP


A foremost socio-political youth  group with membership strength cutting  across twelve local Government Areas under the umbrella of Eket Senatorial District Youths Assembly (ESDYA), have described Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State as focus, credible and committed leader.


The group warned against political manipulations to scheme Eket senatorial district out of the seat of power stating that youths of the senatorial district will not accept any other candidate as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial flag-bearer for the 2019 elections outside Governor Udom Emmanuel.

The international president of the group, Hon. Joseph Mbong announced the position of the group during a courtesy call on the leader of Eket senatorial district, Rt. Hon. Nduese Essien today at his Eket residence.




Joe Mbong said the purpose of the courtesy visit was to remind their leader of members  of the group's determination to fearlessly  align with the leadership of the senatorial district to work for the common interests of the senatorial district which is to return Udom Emmanuel for a second term.


Joe Mbong applauded Chief Essien's impeccable role in supporting and defending the PDP admistration noting that Gov.Emmanuel deserves the mandate of the senatorial district without bargain of any kind.
The group also appealed to the present administration to consider it as top priority the establishment of core oil producing communities commission in the state


The senatorial district leader in his remarks expressed satisfaction with the group composition and activities which he said is design to help assuage unemployment rate and facilitation of youth empowerment in the area.


The former federal lawmaker cautioned against cultism and other forms of social vices which could impair developments, while urging youth to be more committed and proactive in defending the course of the senatorial district by joining force to return Udom Emmanuel as Governor of the State after 2019.


Reacting to alleged speculations of low government impact in the state, Chief Essien attributed such allegations to the former Governor of the State Chief Godswill Akpabio.
He listed recession and huge debt burden left over by the administration of Sen. Akpabio as core challenges that affected the supposed speedily industrialization of the state by the Udom administration.


He noted that the best decision ever made by the people of Eket senatorial district is their resolved to continue with Udom Emmanuel till 2023.

Chief further advised the group leadership to return to their various wards and villages to sensitize and enlighten the people on the important of having their PVCs handy.
