BREAKING: POLICE ARREST APC AGENTS OVER VOTE BUYING IN OSUN

Men of the Nigerian Police in Osun State has arrested two persons alleged to be agents of the APC for inducing voters with money to vote for candidate of the APC.



The arrested APC agents published on the official twitter handle of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), are the Financial Secretary and Treasurer in Iwo LG. During the arrest, the  sum of  Six Hundred And Four Thousand Naira (N604,000) is said to have been recovered from their possession  by the police as part of the allocated fund for vote ps buying in favour of the APC in the ongoing Osun State elections.


The Osun governorship elections has a total Registered voters of 1,687,492, 48 governorship candidates
3010 polling units, 332 registration areas, 30 local governments, 4,700 card readers and over 40 local and international observers. 

Is recalled that the PDP had earlier expressed fear over a syndicate attempts by APC agents to lure voters through votes buying.



Meanwhile, reports reaching Netreporters.ng claims that at Ward 4, Unit 4, Ojude Oke, Boripe LGA, some persons believed to be officials and agents of APC are scaring other voters with the chant of "No APC, No Vote." Many voters left the queue to their homes for safety reasons
