The Peoples Democratic Party's Speakers' Forum has vehemently condemned the gruesome murder of Hon Michael Adedeji who until his untimely demise was a Member representing Ekiti South-West II State Constituency in the Ekiti State House of Assembly.
Hon Michael Adedeji, a vocal and outstanding legislator who had made indelible mark in the Ekiti State Legislature, was on Friday October 26, 2018, assassinated by unknown gunmen.
The Forum, irked by yet another killing of an active member of the state legislature, decries the porosity of security across the country.
The PDP Speakers' Forum, call on the various security agencies to double up their efforts at policing the country, while ensuring that the killers of Hon Michael Adedeji are brought to book.
" We wish to commiserate with the Speaker and entire members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, the good people of Ekiti South-southwest II state constituency and indeed the family of Hon Michael Adedeji.
"We pray God grants the bereaved the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss".
May the soul of late Hon Michael Adedeji find peace at Bossom of the Lord!
