...Disrupt Defection in Essien Udim

The last may not have been heard over the gradual manifestation of Senator Godswill Akpabio's planned violence tagged by him as "Warsaw" towards 2019 election in the State.
The gradual fulfilment of the promised Warsaw from him came to light today, Monday in his hometown, Essien Udim when his party men, members of the All Progressives Congress, led by the Chapter Chairman, Financial Secretary, Organizing secretary, ward chairmen and executives who were elected but later dislodged by Senator Godswill Akpabio, unit coordinators among other stalwarts of the party and the Pioneer Executive Chairman of Essien Udim Local Government Area with thousands of members defected from the All Progressives Congress into the Peoples Democratic Party.
In an a desperate move to save face from apparent embarrassment of losing grip of the party structure from his hometown, Senator Akpabio i sponsored assasins who went haywire at the venture of the defection and environ ,teying to gain entry to assasinates the Deputy Governor , Mr Moses Ekpo ,the Hon Commissioner for Investment Prince Bar Ukpon Akpabio , Commssioner for Sport , Elder Ebing Uko and APC defectors .
The miscreants who were seen with AK 47 ,tights red ribon over their forehead, in hundreds surrounded the Essien Udim Unity hall to cause bloodshed, as they continually shot at the hall in bid to gain entry but were blocked by the security operatives at the venue
Shooting of bullets into the premises of the event, destroyed many car windscreen and injured some persons from the area, .many were rushed to the hospital .
The attack geared at disrupting the event and further discourage people from attending the occasion also witnessed the youth burn tires on the road, halting movements especially for Essien Udim people who came into the area from other local government area.
Despite the antics, the violence from the sponsored assasins met brick wall as the Essien Udim unity hall remained filled to capacity with the people staying put till the occasion finished.
When the event finished, the people only resorted to use Ikot Osura road as the only route to escape the violent youth.
It was gathered that the Senate Minority leader on getting wind of the defection had contacted the defectors with promises of money, cars and appointment if Nsima Ekere emerges governor.
When his promises fell on deaf ears, it was gathered that the Former governor ensured his assasins were mobilized to disrupt the event so that APC leaders at the national should not be disappointed with the Senator that he has lost his home front thus make it glaring that he may not have had grip of the State as he may have portrayed.
