As the roadmap to 2019 general elections approaches, a stunt nationwide support youth group galvanising support for president Buhari's reelection under the auspices of Buhari Youth Organisation (BYO), have called on Nigerians to be conscious of impostors and political gamblers walking the streets of Nigeria defrauding innocent citizens disguising as President Buhari's link men.
The BYO board of trustees chairman, Amb. Ali Barakat, who spoke to a cross section of Buhari supporters in Abuja last weekend called on Nigerians to be aware of the fact that there are unscrupulous elements going about with evil agenda to cause hatred, confusion, and raising of unnecessary tension painting President Buhari's government on the negative.
In an exclusive interview with our correspondent in Abuja, the chairman Board of Trustees, (BYO) Amb.Ali Barakat who, advised youth across the nation to be law abiding irrespective of tribe, religion and political affiliation noted that the essence for the formation of (BYO) is to ensure Youth Organizations across the 36 states are adequately equipped to help in the process of sensitizing and reorienting Nigerian youths to replicate the integrity, leadership ideology and noble personality of Mr. President who is the group's grand patron.
Amb. Barakat emphasized that youth consistent involvement in governance is a step towards achieving the desired developmental plan mapped of President Buhari for the overall interest of Nigerian. He stated that leadership responsibilities requires credibility and integrity as portrayed by President Buhari.
Reacting to questions on the ongoing leadership tussle engulfing (BYO),BoT Chairman of BYO said the rumored leadership tussle is the handiwork of those against the success of President Buhari's 2nd term re-eclection.
Alhaji Barakat, whom the entire (BoT), members of (BYO), cooperate Affairs Commission, and the presidency recognizes as the authentic (BoT) chairman of (BYO) said from available documents at my disposal, the Corporate Affairs Commission ( CAC) official website with registration no: CAC/IT/63673 does not have the names of Garba Umar who is under suspension and Olajuwon Obasanjo who was criminally appointed by the erstwhile acclaimed national secretary as incorporated trustees of BYO. He maintained that the suspension of Engr. Garba Umar is irreversible until pending further notice.
Secret investigation to ascertain the legality of Umar's led faction of (BYO) reveal that Umar's suspension as the former national secretary of BYO is primely related to excessive and flagrant abuse of office, dereliction of duty, impersonation, and alleged financial misappropriations. It is also gathered that his acclaim factional leadership is fictitious and anti-policies which does not conform to the policy statement of President Buhari.
The BYO leadership however cautioned her members nationwide not to have any dealings whatsoever with the suspended Umar Garba and his cohorts in other to safe their faces from national embarrassment. As at the time of filing this story, efforts to reach the erstwhile suspended secretary was proven abortive.
