The Itai Afe Annang ,Okuku (Dr) Pius Effiong Esideh lll, has congratulated Governor Udom Emmanuel on his recent victory in the gubernatorial polls held last Saturday March 9,in the state. The Royal father in a message titled: "A message of Congratulations and Solidarity",
commended Governor Udom Emmanuel for his resolve to carry his opponents along, urging him to however concentrate "on the daunting task of developing all sections of the state, bearing malice to none".
Okuku Isideh urged Governor Udom to strike a balance between merit and inclusiveness, as he sets about selecting personnel to mann key and strategic political offices in the state, in order to enhance unity. He also commended all Annang sons and daughters who referenced history, by honoring the power rotation accord of 2007, "despite threats and inducements by dark forces who were bent on rewriting history.
The Itai Afe Annang while commending the governor for the ambience of Peace and development his first term has provided in the state, urged him to do more in his second term so that the collective dreams of constructive engagement, through human resources development, infrastructural renaissance and cultural resurgence may be actualized.
