A non governmental organization in Nigeria, Network Advancement Pr
ogramme for Poverty and Disaster Risk Reduction, NAPPDRR has commended the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly and the House Committee Chairman on Finance and Appropriations, Dr. Usoro Akpanusoh for speedy and efficient handling of the Akwa Ibom State 2019 Budget passage that has just been assented to by Governor Udom Emmanuel.
NAPPDRR in a message of facilitation to Akpanusoh, signed by its President, Al-Mustapha Emem Edoho, expressed optimism that the budget, if carefully implemented by the Executive arm of government and MDAs, would pave way for rapid industrial renaissance in the State and catalyzes quantum economic stimulus.
The NGO described the Esit Eket /Ibeno State Constituency member as a versatile grassroot politician, whose second term re-election nomination form was bought for by his constituents due to his superlative performance in terms of quality people's oriented legislation and empowerment packages for the constituents.
Al-Mustapha Edoho further described Usoro Akpanusoh as a huge asset to the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly in terms of fostering harmonious relationship between the Executive and other arms of government, as well as a stabilizing factor in the House through mentorship.
The group also used the medium to appeal to the State Government to inject funds into the revitalization of Akwa Palm industry and completion of mega road projects and the Ibom Deep Seaport in the second term to create employment for the teaming unemployed youths.
