Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties and Aviation, Mr. Akan Okon has congratulated the pupils, management and staff of Qua Iboe Church Nursery and Primary School, Oku on the successful hosting of the maiden edition of their inter-house sports competition.
The Commissioner who dropped the congratulatory message, Monday while receiving a trophy from members of the victorious house, the Green House, thanked the school for deeming it necessary to host the inter-house sports competition which he noted was an avenue for the discovery of sporting talents among the young ones.
Mr. Okon who was elated that the house he sponsored, the Green House emerged victorious at the inter-house sports competition of the school, used the opportunity to task pupils of the school whom he described as future leaders, to take their studies serious and ensure they come out tops in their academics.
