EKET IS SECOND MOST DEVELOPED LGA UNDER GOV. UDOM EMMANUEL - Emma Mbong

Obongiwaad Emmanuel Mbong, the PDP chapter chairman of Eket local government area have stated that apart from Uyo LGA which is the state capital, the second most developed LGA under Governor Udom Emmanuel in terms of infrastructural development is Eket local government Area.


Emma Mbong disclosed this yesterday during a special interactive session with media practitioners at his residence in Eket. He described governor Udom Emmanuel as a credible leader who is Practically committed to the development of the state.



Mbong eulogised Governor Emmanuel for having Eket in his list of priority. He restated that Eket have witnessed massive unprecedented  development and government presence in all sectors. He  further maintained that the administration of governor Udom Emmanuel from inception hitherto is the "best and most beneficial administration to Eket people".


The party chairman however siezed the opportunity to cautioned those involved in the act of spreading falsehood for the purpose of discrediting the governor to refrain from such practice.


He advised gentlemen of the press to always adhere to ethics of the pen  profession by not  compromising their integrity in the face of hazards and during  appraisal of government and governance.


 He went further and appealed to government and corporate agencies for sponsorship and empowerement of some  media practioners from the area to enable them acquire specialize professional ICT skills.



 
He expressed optimism in the completion agenda of the governor stating that Eket will certainly experience impressive economic, social, political and  educational expansion upon swearing-in and commencement of the new government.



"The level of political appointments, educational development, intervention projects, road network infrastructure/urban remodeling and human capital development spread across Eket LGA courtesy of Udom EEmmanuel within four  years deserve worthy comendations" Mbond added.
