And Moses and the priests,the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.Deut:27:9.
There is no better time to follow the instruction above than now.
In this last days,the people of God should take heed to themselves.
》Take heed TO DOCTRINAL TEACHING:
Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;Deut:4:9.
Many leaders and laity are fast forgetting the teaching of the Bible.God instructed Israelites on these important issues to •••》
▪keep the Soul diligently. It means don't let your heart corrupt.
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Pr:4:23.
▪Do not forget what God has done for you in time past. Israelites saw wonders in Egypt and in the wilderness but they easily forgot.
▪Do not let the word of God depart from your heart all the days of your life.Be a Bible lover,reader,carrier and practinioner.
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Jos:1:8.
▪Keep Bible Doctrine alive.God told Israelites to teach the word of God to their children and to their children children.If we are going to sustain the doctrine of the Bible,we must continue to teach it from one generation to another.
God was proud of Abraham in this
For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.Gen:18:19.
Are you training your children and your household the word of God like Abraham?
Paul Apostle instructed Timothy to keep the Bible Doctrine alive.
And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.2Tim:2:2.
》Do not forget the covenant God made with you.
Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee.Deut:4:23.
The salvation of your soul made God to enter a covenant with you the day you made a covenant with Him to accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour with a promise to serve Him to the end. Therefore,do not break that covenant.Jos.24v15.
》Do not give offerings in every place you see.
Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:Deut:12:13.
God instructed Israelites to be careful where they give offerings.
It is not every place or every pastor that is a fertile ground to sow your seed.Do not waste your seed.Please carefully read, Math.13v 3-8 to know different soils people sow their seeds
》Do not follow after other gods.
Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;Deut:11:16
One of the end time signs is Deception,do not be caught in that web.Following other gods will ensnare your soul and bring sorrow to you.
Take heed to thyself that thou be not SNARED by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou inquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.Deut:12:30.
It is an act of unbelief for a child of God to follow after strange god.
Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.Heb:3:12.
