AISHA BUHARI IS CONSCIENCE OF NIGERIAN GOVT - PDP LEGAL ADVISER

...SAYS APC GOVT INSINCERE TO NIGERIANS

Mrs. Aisha Buhari

National Legal Adviser of the Peoples Democratic Party Barr Emmanuel Enoidem has described Mrs Aisha Buhari as the conscience of the President Buhari-led administration in Nigeria.

Enoidem on a live radio programme in Uyo said the wife of the President has been vocal in raising alarm against the insincerity observed in her husband's  administration.

Barr. Enoidem
PDP Nat. Legal Adviser
"She couldn't bear the insincerity this government is exhibiting towards insecurity, not just insecurity, she can't bear the corruption the government and she has come out to say that the country is being controlled by a cabal.

The former Commissioner for Investment, Commerce and Industry in Akwa Ibom State extolled Mrs Buhari for being sincere to her husband, her country and to the federal government.

"Unfortunately they will not listen to her because sincerity is not part of this government.

Enoidem who decried the concentration of the headship of security agencies in the hands of northerners, also attributed the spate of insecurity in the north to the insincerity and ineptitude of the security heads.

He wondered why states with recorded high level of insurgency and terrorism could be attributed with so much votes for the APC, claiming that people who had largely fled their homes and given up on the federal government couldn't have returned overnight to vote for the same government.

"We have the intelligence, bombs where dropping in Yobe, and Borono and Zamfara and Katsina were enveloped by attacks, it would be foolish to assume that these same places recorded those massive votes.

The legal adviser was also alarmed that for the first time in the history of the nation, all the heads of the arms of government will hail from the the same part of the country.

He said that the President,  who heads the executive, the  Chief Justice, and the Head of the Legislature(Senate President) as being projected, all hail from the northern region of the country and were all Muslims.

The outspoken legal luminary said the President by not celebrating his second term inauguration,  has formally agreed that the mandate was not rightfully his own.

"The kind of robbery that took place on  February 23, was unprecedented in this country.

"The only significant thing that follows the oath taking is the inaugural speech. But what was he to tell Nigerians about an election he did not win?"
