The member representing Esit Eket/Ibeno State constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Rural Development and
Public Utilities, Rt. Hon. Usoro Akpanusoh, has appealed to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, to consider citing people oriented projects in Esit Eket/Ibeno State Constituency in completion agenda of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s administration which will help give the area a new outlook in the area of development, job creation and industrialization.
The Esit Eket/Ibeno lawmaker made the appeal yesterday in a message of appreciation to the speaker Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey.
Speaking on behalf of the good people of Esit Eket/Ibeno State Constituency, Hon. Akpanusoh sincerely expressed deep appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel for the nomination of Rt. Hon. Okpolumpn Ikpong Ette, as commissioner designate which he described the appointment of Rt. Hon. Okpolupm Ette is an indication that the state Governor has heeded to the cry of my constituents, describing the Governor as the real Mr. Integrity.
“Let me also use this medium to humbly appeal to His Excellency, Deacon Udom Emmanuel, to as well consider citing of people oriented projects in Esit Eket/Ibeno State Constituency in his completion agenda which will help give the area a new outlook in the area of development, job creation and industrialization.
“On behalf of myself, family and the good people of Esit Eket/Ibeno State constituency, I sincerely express our deep appreciation to His Excellency, Governor Udom Emmanuel for the nomination of Rt. Hon. Okpolupm Ikpong Ette, as commissioner designate.
“The appointment of Rt. Hon. Okpolupm Ette is an indication that our amiable Governor has heeded to the cry of my constituents. This obviously portrays him as the real Mr. Integrity”.
Rt. Hon. Usoro also reassured the speaker of the 7th assembly his total support and cooperation as they partner to ensure unprecedented growth and progress for Akwa Ibom State through efficient legislation which is the prime target of all of them.
He promised to redouble his effort and wealth of experience to ensure the 7th Assembly succeeds with established positive legacies. While expressing his gratitude to the speaker Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly for finding him worthy to serve in the 7th Assembly as Chairman, House Committee On Rural Development And Public Utilities, the Rural Development and Public Utilities chairman appreciated and thanked the immediate past speaker, Rt. Hon. Onofiok Luke, for the opportunity he had given him to chair the Appropriation and Finance Committee.
