TEARS OF JOY AS WELDER GETS GIANT SIZE DIESEL ENGINE FROM UDOM'S COMMISSIONER

For Mr Idorenyin Sunday Akpan, a welder from Ikot Ebre, Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area, his happiness knows no bound with the presentation of a giant size diesel generator to him today by the State Commissioner of Works, Mr. Ephraim Akparawa Inyang-Eyen.


The welder on 5th October, 2019, solicited a generator from Mr. Inyang-Eyen via a phone call on a live interview programme on AKBC radio; Akwa Ibom Calling.

Presenting Sifang Diesel Engine generator, S1100 series, to Mr Akpan, the Works boss said the gesture was to encourage the recipient, whom he said has heeded the clarion call of Governor Udom Emmanuel that every Akwa Ibom person should rise and work to earn a living.

He assured that his door would remain open for those who have sincere needs without the wherewithal.

The recipient who could not hide his tears of joy while promising to use his new generator for the purpose it was meant for prayed God to bless the governor who appointed Mr Inyang-Eyen.

He called on those occupying political offices and other well to do individuals in Akwa Ibom to emulate the fine example of the Works boss.
