As part of fulfilment of his promises that the welfare and interest of his constituents will remain paramount, member representing Uyo/Ibesikpo Asutan/Nsit Atai/Uruan Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Engr. Michael Enyong, has handed a two-bedroom bungalow to a physically challenged.


Speaking during the commissioning of the building at Ikot Ebre community in Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area, he stated that his representation at the National Assembly will remain people-centred.

Baba Ntan as the federal lawmaker is fondly called, said he met the beneficiary, Mr. Sunday Anietie Udoekong, at the annual PDP meeting in Ibesikpo Asutan on 26th December 2018 and was moved by his passion for the party despite being physically challenged, hence he promised to build a two bedroom flat for him.

Enyong who is the Chairman Committee on Solid Minerals in the House of Representatives also donated N1 million each to five indigenes of Ibesikpo Asutan as part of his constituency reach out in the yuletide.

The beneficiary of the two bedroom bungalow, Anietie Sunday Udoekong, who could not hold back his joy, thanked Baba Ntan for the kind gesture which he described as unmerited favour on him.

Beneficiaries of the largess included Madam Mfonobong Jackson Ekanem, Imaobong Friday, Eteidung Edem Moses, Ntiedo Ben and Etop Jonathan.

The donations were made at the Prince Uwem Ita Etuk’s farm house during the end-of-year convention of the PDP in Ibesikpo Asutan.
