According to report by NCDC, Nigeria currently has 174 Confirmed cases, 9 discharged with 2 deaths.
Also, Akwa Ibom State is has said to have recorded its first five cases of deadly coronavirus, becoming the 13th state to have the infection in Nigeria.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on Wednesday via its Twitter handle.
It tweeted, “Twenty three new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Nigeria – Nine in Lagos, seven in the FCT, five in Akwa Ibom, one in Kaduna and one in Bauchi State.
“As of 08:00 pm on the 1st of April, there are 174 confirmed cases of #COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. Nine have been discharged with two deaths
“Currently, Lagos has 91 cases, FCT- 35, Osun- 14, Oyo- eight, Ogun- four, Edo- four, Kaduna- four, Bauchi- three, Enugu- two, Ekiti- two, Rivers- one, Benue- one and Akwa Ibom – five.”
