Other members of the implementation committee, which is chaired by Prof Akpan Ekpo, are Prof Emmanuel Onwioduokit who is the secretary, Mr. Ime Uwah and Dr Glory Edet, representing the state executive council.

The implementation committee is a product of a 142-page report submitted to governor Udom Emmanuel by the Professor Akpan Ekpo led Covid-19 economic reconstruction committee set up to brainstorm on ways that the state could build a viable economy after the exit of coronavirus.

Mr. Inoyo who was appointed into the committee the same day he bowed out of ExxonMobil companies in Nigeria after over 30 years in the company, made the 5-man implementation list because of his vast experience in private sector strategic management and corporate governance.

Inoyo and others are to craft an implementation plan for the creation of a state economic advisory council; a state bureau of statistics; establish modalities for creation of a reserve fund for the state; revive Akwa Savings and Loans Ltd; streamline the number of boards, and aides to the governor; see to the completion of the Ibom science & technology park; invest heavily in agriculture and bar / discourage cultists from occupying public offices in Akwa Ibom state among other recommendations, as part of the 30-year strategic economic drive of the state.

With the wealth of experience among members of the committee, governor Emmanuel will be banking on these men to help him put Akwa Ibom on the path to financial stability and economic prosperity before the expiration of his completion agenda in 2023.
