...Harps on forgiveness, love & teamwork.
The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Frank Archibong, earlier today led members of staff of the ministry to the throne of Grace committing their weekly activities into the hands of God.
In his homily, Apostle Ukana Ekpenyong who drew his text from the book of Luke 3: 7 - 14, while speaking on the topic 'What then shall we do to forgive one another' urged all to embrace and encourage peace, unity and forgiveness at home and work places.
Speaking during the weekly solemn assembly, Hon. Archibong, charged workers to emulate the spirit of teamworkcollaboration by allowing forgiveness, love and teamwork to constantly lead them at their various duty post.
He described Governor Udom Emmanuel, as a practical model for good governance that should served as a role model for anyone who intend to build strong character in and out of Government.
The weekly prayer activities had in attendance the permanent secretary, Directors and other Members of Staff of the Ministry.
Recall that on assumption of office, the Commissioner had re-dedicated the Ministry's affairs into God's hands for divine direction, an action that has elicited joy among members of staff and further solidified the belief that the State is solely in the Hands of God as advocated by the Governor.
