AKS CHIEFTAINCY AFFAIRS COMMISSIONER SEEKS MONARCH'S SUPPORT FOR GOV EMMAMUEL






...as Government expedites action on the completion of a befitting secretariat for  traditional Rulers Council 


Akwa State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Frank Archibong, has urged traditional rulers in the state to give their full support to the Governor Udom Emmanuel's led-administration. 


Hon. Archibong, stated this on monday, 14 September when he played host to the Executive Members of Assembly of clan Heads in the State in his office led by HH Etebom Ubong Okokon, Clan Head of Oku Iboku, Itu LGA. 


The Commissioner said that the  co-operation of the monarchs as custodians of culture and tradition would go a long way in helping the state to achieve successes in any given engagement.

The Commissioner further implored them to create awareness on government programs and activities within their respective communities.


He assured the monarchs that a befitting secretariat is on course and that it will be completed as soon as possible.

Earlier, the President, Assembly of clan Heads in Akwa Ibom State, HH Etebom Ubong Okokon, had thanked the Governor for the infrastructural renaissance witnessed across the state and for boasting and attending to their welfare as at when due.
