"I must salute Gov. Udom Emmanuel for paying serious attention to sport development in the State, it is a sensitive sector that will help youths to discover their talents and skills".
Those were the words of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Matters, Comrade Aniefiok Wilson Iwaudofia on Saturday during the quarter finals of Ukai Unity Tournament at Methodist Primary School, Itiam Etoi, Uyo.
Represented by Mr. Ndu Davis, Leader of Uyo Senatorial District Village Youth Presidents, Iwaudofia urged youths to key into the various opportunities in the sport sector in the state which he noted that Gov. Udom Emmanuel has invested so much.
Iwaudofia acknowledged the sponsor of the tournament, Hon. Ukai Udeme Emmanuel, who is the immediate past Vice Chairman of Uyo Local Government Council for his consistent sponsorship of the tournament and prayed for God's continuous provision for the sponsor.
