GOVERNANCE: UDOM INOYO INTERACTS WITH YOUNG AKWA IBOMITES, PROFFERS SOLUTION TO JUVENILE DELINQUENCY, JOB CREATION

Mr. Udom Inoyo

The former Vice Chairman of Exxonmobil and Adviser of the Inoyo Toro Foundation, Mr. Udom Inoyo, has stressed the need for the younger generation to embrace creative innovations and to build on excellence in order to curb juvenile delinquency and create jobs. 


Inoyo, said at a knowledge-sharing interactive meeting with young Akwa Ibom indigenes who are determined to change the narrative in  governance, on Monday 4th October, 2021,that youths  plays pivotal role in nation building, fighting crimes and developing a global brand for an enviable economy. 


According to Inoyo, being committed to meaningful engagement such as creative innovation, entrepreneurial and personality building can help mould our youths to becoming self reliant. 


He said vision, integrity, focus, dedication and passion were the driving forces which propelled him to attain the height he attained while in Exxonmobil. 


He also spoke  on the imperative of  building a sustainable brand through succession planning.


“Succession planning is top notch strategy to ensure worthy ideas conceived are not left behind because its always profitable to both the government and citizens. Definitely, the brand would continue to be maintained" 

Responding to a question on how his personal philosophy has significantly  impacted on the Exxonmobil brand and  the development of Akwa Ibom , the former Vice Chairman of the US oil giant, said Exxonmobil has an unbiased organizational  policy which regulates every facet of operation  implemented by the Management.


"Exxonmobil is a global brand known for excellent standard practices which serve as its vision. This vision is however driven by men of integrity and high reputation. Therefore, branding goes with success and the successful stories of ideas and innovation aid in developing best brand of leaders who can always think and act outside the box" He stated.


Inoyo, further urged youths to see themselves as change agents by being responsible, focussed and dedicated and as well take active role in the processes of governance.

The knowledge-sharing meeting had in attendance top media professionals among  other notable young entrepreneurs.
