In fulfillment of his campaign promise of setting the standard for indelible legacies, the Member representing the good people of Esit Eket / Ibeno State constituency has again empowered youths of Ibeno LGA while reiterating his support for the second term bid of Gov. Udom Emmanuel.
Akpanusoh said he is committed to offer his constituents effective representation to portray landmark record in the archives of the state legislature.
Akpanusoh gave the assurance on Saturday during a strategic enlarge meeting with youths of his constituency to chat the way forward for the development and progress of the area.
The lawmaker advised youths of the area to conduct themselves in an orderly manner stating that development can only strive in an atmosphere where peace and unity takes lead.
Speaking further, Akpanusoh appreciated the effort and support of his predecessor Rt. Hon. Okpolupm Ette; whom he described as a great leader with the passion for consistent progress.
The State legislator seized the opportunity and canvass Support for the continuity project of Gov. Emmanuel urging youths to cue behind the umbrella party.
He irrevocably stated that Gov. Emmanuel deserves maximum support to ensure the actualization of the Governor's re-lection for another four years for the purpose of equity, fairness and justice.
"I am focus and determined to continue in legislating laws that will further transform the living standard of my constituents, and to achieve this; all hands must be on deck to ensure victrory for our Governor in other to attract more government presence to help ameliorate poverty, empower our youths and to curb crimes in our constituency" He said.
Subsequently, encomiums heralded the air at the meeting when Akpanusoh made a pronouncement to empower Ibeno youths with brand new speed boat and engine to help boost their economic and fishing activities in the coastal area.
Responding on behalf of the youths, Mr. John Fighter thanked Akpanusoh for his act of generosity. He appealed to the present administration of Mr. Udom Emmanuel to expand his right hand of fellowship to youths of Ibeno LGA noting that the Governor has performed creditably but, more still needed to be done.
Mr. Fighter further pledged to partner with the youth structure to mobilise support for the re-election victory of the state chief executive, Deacon Udom Emmanuel and their representative in the state Assembly Dr. Usoro Akpanusoh to continue in offices till 2023.
