In his undeterred effort to drum support for the actualization of Governor Emmanuel's second term victory, member representing Esit Eket / Ibeno State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Dr. Usoro Akpanusoh has advised politicians in the not to distract the Governor's focus in developing the State. He reiterated his committed to ensure the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial flag bearer for the 2019 general elections emerged victorious.
Dr. Akpanusoh gave the remarks on Tuesday in Uyo when he addressed leaders of support group across the state in a courtesy visit on him. The lawmaker who is equally seeking reelection under the PDP platform commended the leadership qualities of Mr. Emmanuel for making Akwa Ibom conducive and safer for residents and investors to go about with their businesses without fear of any kind.
He informed that his decision and choice of supporting Gov. Emmanuel's second term bid is on the benchmark of widespread unprecedented achievements brought to bare within the Governor's three years in office.

" Governor Emmanuel is a man of integrity, he has not deviated from his campaign promises. The pace of development, rural expansion, the new phase of road network infrastructure, qualitative education and industrialization trend among others are salient reasons the people of Akwa Ibom state must rise up and resist every attempt of political intimidation and threat to ensure the Governor's mandate renewal for another term of four years is not thwarted". Usoro said.
In their separate goodwill messages, the president of National Association of Esit Eket Students (NAEES) Worldwide, comrade Ifiok Ussoh, leader of Eket Senatorial District Traders Forum, Obonganwan Grace Obuok, spiritual fathers of faith under the platform of Eket Federal Constituency Unity Prayer Network, Post Graduate Students Association, University of Uyo chapter led by Comrade Kingdom Inyang, College of Education Students, Afaha Nsit, Igbo and Yoruba speaking community, led by Ichie Tobias Maduakor and Foloronsho Ogungbemi irrevocably agreed to partner with relevant groups to drive the umbrella party to a resounding electoral victory and to help expand their scope of campaign coverage in favour of all PDP candidates.
They applauded Dr. Akpanusoh for always listening to the plight of the students through scholarship grants and financial assistance emphasizing that they are satisfied to have witnessed the magnitude of quality and durable items presented to beneficiaries during the lawmaker's third Constituency Briefing/empowerment program which hitherto place him above his colleagues.
High point of the visit was appointment of Dr. Akpanusoh as Adviser of Eket Senatorial District Traders Forum and subsequent presentation of award of Excellence to the lawmaker in recognition of his landmark legislative scorecard.
In his remarks while receiving the award, the lawmaker appreciated and thanked the group leaders for bestowing on him Excellence award. He urged them to practice pure leadership where truth, peace and love will always prevail.
" Your requests are well noted. Let me advice also that your agitation should be focus on mind blowing projects and developmental programs instead of indulging into unethical and unlawful acts that could in turn affect the peaceful and harmonious coexistence presently enjoyed throughout the State" he cautioned.
Akpanusoh who is also the chairman of Appropriation and Finance committee, restated that the essence of him advocating for the return of Governor Udom for a second term is to ensure sustainable development and harmonious coexistence where kidnappings and cultism will remain a thing of history.
