BREAKING! ANIEKAN BASSEY EMERGES SPEAKER OF 7TH AKWA IBOM ASSEMBLY

..As Felicia Bassey re-elected as deputy speaker.

Rt. Hon. Speaker Aniekan Bassey

Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey, re-eletced member representing Uruan State constituency is the new Speaker  of the 7th Akwa Ibom  State House of Assembly. 


Motion for the nomination of Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey was moved by Rt. Hon. Otuekong Nse Essien, member elect for  Onna State Constituency. While Rt. Hon. Mark Esset of Nsit Atai constituency  seconded the motion.

Rt. Hon. Felicia Bassey was equally  re-elected deputy speaker of the 7th Assembly.

Leadership of 7th assembly include Rt.Hon. (Elder) Udo Keirian, Leader, Barr. Denis Akpan, deputy leader, Chief whip-Emmanuel Bassey, Deputy chief whip -Rt. Hon. Nse Essien who represents the Governor's state constituency, Onna.
