The Member representing Onna State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Otuekong Nse Essien has Lauded the gigantic and sterling leadership prowess of His Excellency Governor Udom Emmanuel in the state with reference to the 18 functioning industries which has employed thousands of our teeming youths within and across the state.
He gave this remarks today during an interview session on the programme 'Akwa Ibom Rising' on Comfort FM. He applauded the Governor for his remarkable and unprecedented developmental strides he has brought to the state which according to him, those industries will provide job opportunities to the youths, attract based and foreign investors for more economic advancement which credit will be given to Akwa Ibom State.
"Onna are very lucky and fortunate set of people to have a Governor coming from that stock from 2015 to 2023 by the Special Grace of God.
"Governor Udom Emmanuel has shown to the global community that he is a competent leader with a sterling leadership prowees by giving Akwa Ibom people good road network, 18 industries, state of art health facility and adding value to our educational sector". He said
The Assembly man on his path through a felicitation message congratulates Akwa Ibom State on the occasion of the 32 birth anniversary of the State. He stated that Akwa Ibom State in the last 32 years of existence as an independent state has recorded a great feat in so many facets of life and governance.
"At 32, We have gone a long way as a State. Akwa Ibom is vast growing in all facets of life and governance which we must give appraisal to our past Leaders who have contributed immensely to the growth and development of Akwa Ibom State to what we have today"
Otuekong Nse Essien urged all and sundry to desist from demarketing the state with the unscrupulous and inconsequential speculation of falsehood and propaganda in the name of politics just to defame the hard earned reputation of the State in order to score cheap political points.
He also enjoined Akwa Ibom people both within and diaspora to embrace peace, Unity, love and Togetherness towards joining hands with Governor Udom Emmanuel in building Akwa Ibom to its apex for the betterment and benefit of our generation economically, culturally, and politically.
