... Celebrates Barr Umoekeyo Abasiene Uno at 80
Member representing Etinan/ Nsit Ibom/ Nsit Ubium Federal Constituency Mr Onofiok Luke was conferred with Outstanding Leadership Award at the maiden edition of Abak Cultural Festival tagged Uja Abak held at Abak Council Arena, Abak Local Government Area (LGA) on Tuesday.
The award was presented by Council Chairman, Mr Ekerette Inyang. Luke commended the Chairman of Abak LGA for his performance since he took over the saddle year ago. He noted that the development strides in the Abak in visible.
The Federal lawmaker donated the sum of one million naira (#1m) to be given to twenty (20) women as Business Support Fund to cushion the impact of COVID-19 on household income.
Meanwhile Mr Luke was a special guest at the Public Lecture Series and Foundation Launch to mark the 80th birthday and 46years post call celebration of Barr Umoekeyo Abasiene Uno held at Oro Civic Centre, Oron LGA.
He prayed for more years for the octagenarian who has lived an enviable life and contributed to the legal profession.
