... Doles out Bags of Rice, Life Cow, Cash, Ors
It was a celebration galore for the people of Ikot Ekpene Udo, Nsit Ubium Local Government Area yesterday as the Honourable Commissioner for Lands and Water Resources, Pastor Umo Eno doles out cash, rice, life cow and more for the people of the area to celebrate Christmas.
The Commissioner made the presentation at his country home during the 2021 Christmas Carol Service jointly organised by All Nations Christian Ministry International and Ikot Ekpene Udo Ministers Forum.
Addressing the jubilant congregation, Pastor Umo Eno said the Christmas package was made possible by Governor Udom Emmanuel adding that the Governor had sent Christmas gifts to the people of the area through him, which he was sharing across accordingly.
He commended the Governor for prioritising the welfare of Akwa Ibom people and urged the people of Ikot Ekpene Udo to continually pray for the Governor and family.
The Commissioner expressed appreciation to God for the lives of the people of Ikot Ekpene Udo, and the entire Nsit Ubium Local Government Area and urged them to remain steadfast and continually reflect Christ, in their daily lives, whom he said is the reason for the season.
In his remarks, the Village Head of Ikot Ekpene Udo, Etteidung Udousoro Johnson Usoro expressed gratitude to God and to the State Governor for appointing their son to serve in the State Executive Council which according to him, has ushered in boundless joy in the village.
He reiterated their commitment to supporting the completion agenda of Governor Udom Emmanuel and prayed that they (Ikot Ekpene Udo) will continue to grow from grace to grace in the new year, 2022.
