As the state gathers momentum for the forth coming general elections, the polity without any doubt is in favour of Gov Udom second term bid and most incredibly for the PDP candidates.
These conclusions come on the hills of endorsements and support the PDP and Gov Udom Emmanuel have been able to gather in recent time.
One of such is the support and public endorsement made today by Dr. Efretui, one of APC leading aspirants in the party's governorship primaries that held last year.
Dr Efretui declared his support for Gov. Emmanuel at the just concluded PDP rally at Uruefong Oruko.
While exposing the corruption in the APC system, Efretui told the crowd how he was robbed and schemed out of the APC governorship primaries.
He further exposed the dirty ploy of APC to use propaganda to deter Gov. Udom Emmanuel from focusing on his superlative performance.
He hinted that APC is just big mouthing about their federal might, affirming the PDP as being on grounds, with the capacity to win the APC in a landslide.
Efretui regretted ever leaving the PDP family, expressing delight at the turn of events that has returned him to the PDP well known for rewarding his party men fairly.
He further declared his readiness to work for the success of the PDP and the reelection of Gov Udom Emmanuel at the coming general polls.
He also thanked Gov. Udom Emmanuel for staying focused on delivering purposeful governance to Akwa Ibom people and not being deterred by the propaganda and mudslingings sponsored by the APC.
"I have seen projects in this state. I am from that system and I am telling you authoritatively that there's nothing like Federal Might. We have to vote for the Peoples Democratic Party at all levels to secure the future of this country", he added.
Dr. Efretuei defected with over 5000 of his supporters.
